Treatment Programs
Nobody should feel ashamed for asking for help. Our Redwood City programs are built to challenge outdated thinking and give you real tools for lasting recovery.

Withdrawal is a medical condition, not a moral failing. Our 3- to 7-day medical detox program in Redwood City provides round-the-clock physician oversight, medication-assisted treatment when appropriate, and compassionate nursing care. We treat withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, crack cocaine, amphetamines, prescription stimulants, kratom, prescription opioids, and inhalants.
Your comfort matters throughout this process. Our 47-bed facility gives you a private, monitored environment where your vitals are tracked continuously and your treatment plan adjusts in real time. Detox is simply the first chapter -- not a punishment, but a foundation for everything that follows.
Society tells people to just "quit." We know it takes far more than willpower. Our 30- to 90-day residential program removes you from environments that reinforce substance use and places you in a structured, judgment-free setting where healing happens on your terms.
Each day starts at 6:30 AM with a nature walk through the grounds surrounding our Redwood City campus. Morning outdoor fitness sessions, equine-assisted therapy, and somatic experiencing complement clinical modalities like CBT, individual counseling, and family systems therapy. With 102 dedicated staff members, your care team has the bandwidth to truly know you -- not just your diagnosis.
Residential treatment here is not about hiding from the world. It is about building the skills, self-awareness, and confidence to re-enter it without shame.
Recovery does not require you to put your entire life on hold. Our 8- to 12-week outpatient program lets you maintain work, school, or family responsibilities while receiving structured clinical care multiple times per week at our Redwood City location.
Sessions include group therapy, individual counseling, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and experiential therapy -- the same evidence-based approaches used in our residential track, adapted to fit your schedule. You will also connect with peers who understand what you are going through, dismantling the isolation that often fuels relapse.
Outpatient is ideal as a step-down from residential or as a primary track for those with strong support systems and moderate clinical needs.
Addiction rarely exists in a vacuum. Depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions frequently co-occur with substance use -- and treating one without the other sets people up to fail. Our dual diagnosis program addresses both conditions simultaneously, because that is what the science demands.
Too many people have been told their mental health struggles are separate from their substance use, or worse, that they caused them. We reject that narrative. Our clinical team integrates psychiatric evaluation, medication management, CBT, somatic experiencing, and trauma-informed care into a unified treatment plan. Over 12 years and 5,100+ individuals served, we have seen that honest, integrated care produces results that fragmented approaches never will.
Our early-riser, outdoor-focused schedule is designed to reset your body and mind. Fresh air and movement are not extras here -- they are core to recovery.
